Green Knights Sixth at Pre-Nationals, Split-Squad Wins at Wisconsin Lutheran

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - St. Norbert College finished sixth out of 39 teams at the highly competitive Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic Division III Pre-Nationals Meet at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park.

The Green Knights registered 177 points for their sixth-place finish. Hope College won the team title with 103 points, while Bates College was second with 108 points. Stevens Institute's Amy Regan won the individual title with a time of 20:56 on the 6-kilometer course. A total of 332 runners competed.

Erin Artz took fifth place overall with a time of 21:36. Taylor Domro finished 28th with a time of 22:41, while Lisa Baeten was 36th with a time of 22:53.

Graceanne Tarsa finished 59th overall in 23:22, while Abby Janto was 63rd with a time of 23:26.

St. Norbert also sent a split squad to the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warrior Invitational at Greenfield Park in West Allis. The Green Knights won the team championship of the event with a score of 39 points to tip Edgewood College, which had 41 points.

Brittany Kozlowski finished third overall with a time of 24:58. Tori Nelsen was seventh with a time of 25:14, while Haley Joosten was ninth in 25:22.

Alyssa Wegner placed 11th with a time of 25:41, while Clarissa Jauregui was 14th in 25:56.
