St. Norbert Falls at UW-La Crosse

LA CROSSE - St. Norbert College traveled to western Wisconsin and lost to UW-La Crosse 2-0 in a non-conference match at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

The Green Knights (5-3-1) fell behind early when La Crosse's Natalie Herzog scored at the 2:02 mark. The Eagles (8-2) scored an insurance goal at 65:35 when Margaret Harings found the back of the net.

La Crosse outshot St. Norbert 43-5, but a 17-save performance by Maddie Plinska helped keep St. Norbert in the game.

The Eagles also held a 13-2 edge in corner kicks.
