St. Norbert Achieves Perfection - And Then Some - At Lawrence

APPLETON - St. Norbert College achieved a perfect 15 score and placed the top 11 runners overall as the Green Knights cruised to the team title at the Lawrence University Gene Davis Invitational at Reid Municipal Golf Course.

The Green Knights achieved their best score since a 21 on Oct. 5, 2002 at the Ripon College Invitational. The team score was St. Norbert's third this season of 25 points or less. St. Norbert easily outdistanced Lawrence, which was the runner-up with 57 points.

Erin Artz was the 6-kilometer race's champion with a time of 21:48, topping the course record set by Monmouth College's Kyra Kimber at the 2014 Midwest Conference Championship.

Brittany Kozlowski finished second with a time of 23:01, followed by Taylor Domro in third at 23:02. Clarissa Jauregui placed fourth in 23:29 and Sarah Parbs was fifth at 23:30.

St. Norbert's scoring bumpers were Haley Joosten in sixth place at 23:39 and Alyssa Wegner in seventh place at 23:50.

Abby Janto finished eighth with a time of 23:52, while Gretchen Price was ninth in 23:53. Graceanne Tarsa placed tenth with a time of 23:59, while Tori Nelsen was 11th in 24:00.
