St. Norbert Blanks Beloit

DE PERE - St. Norbert College pulled away with three second-half goals in a 4-0 win over Beloit College in a Midwest Conference match at De Pere High School.

The Green Knights (14-3, 7-1 MWC) carried a 1-0 lead into halftime behind Griffin Hoerchner's header goal at the 27:02 mark, with Sean Sladky and Sam Lamers assisting.

St. Norbert pulled away in the second half. Ben Prange posted his team-best 11th goal of the season at 47:46, finishing off a Tyler Kassube pass.

Cayden Lasecki then registered his first goal of the season off an Anthony Pineda assist at the 78:35 mark. Drew Checolinski closed out the scoring with his first goal of the season, scoring at 89:53 with a Hoerchner assist.

St. Norbert outshot Beloit 21-3 and also had a 7-4 advantage on corner kicks. Sam Lisheron and Tristan Bosch combined for one save, while Jere Bauer made seven stops for the Buccaneers.
