Green Knights Stalemate at Knox

GALESBURG, Ill. - St. Norbert College battled Knox College to a 1-1 draw in the Green Knights' regular-season finale in a Midwest Conference match at Jorge Prats Field.

The Green Knights (14-3-1, 7-1-1 MWC) got an equalizer from Sam Lamers in the 64th minute. Lamers' goal was unassisted and his fourth of the season.

Knox (13-3-2, 7-0-2) took an early lead in the 10th minute when Lucas Sanchez scored an unassisted marker.

Knox outshot St. Norbert 18-17 and held a 6-3 corner-kick advantage. The game was marred by 46 fouls, with the Prairie Fire committing 25.

Josh Koleske made six saves for the Green Knights, while Justin Dunn made seven for Knox.
