LAKE FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College's men's soccer team qualified for the NCAA Division III Tournament for the first time since 2006 with a pulsating 2-1 overtime win over Grinnell College at Lake Forest College's Farwell Field.

Tyler Kassube's penalty kick at the 92 minutes 50 seconds mark found twine and sent the Green Knights (16-3-1) to the national tournament for the first time since making five consecutive appearances from 2002-06.

The 62-team NCAA Tournament field will be announced at Noon Monday at http://www.ncaa.com/

Ben Prange gave St. Norbert the early lead with an unassisted goal on a solid strike just 4:11 into the game for his team-high 12th goal of the season. His score would hold up until the 54th minute, when Grinnell tied it on a marker by Francisco Sanchez-Conde.

Kassube then converted the penalty kick after a Grinnell foul in the penalty area for his 11th goal of the season. Grinnell had a goal early in overtime waived after being called offside.

St. Norbert outshot Grinnell 14-7 and had the only shot in overtime. The Green Knights also held a 4-2 edge in corner kicks.

Josh Koleske made two saves for St. Norbert, while Major May made three stops for Grinnell.
