Green Knights Can't Slow Down Northwestern In NCAA Tournament

ROSEVILLE, Minn. - St. Norbert College couldn't slow down a potent University of Northwestern offensive attack as the Green Knights fell to the Eagles 3-0 in a first-round NCAA Division III Central Regional Tournament game at Ericksen Center.

The Green Knights (16-15) saw their season come to and end by a 25-13, 25-12, 25-16 score to the 19th-ranked Eagles (31-4).

Northwestern hit .300, with 41 kills and 11 errors in 100 attempts. The Green Knights hit .018 with 26 kills and 24 errors in 113 attempts.

Hannah Johnshoy and Anika Johnson led St. Norbert with seven kills apiece, while Halie Ferry added six kills. Anna Berghoefer had 13 assists and Emily Rohloff totaled 12 assists.

Jaisah Lee led the defense with 11 digs, while Ali Rueter added nine digs.

Northwestern was led by Lindsey Peterson's 14 kills.
