Kassube, Spera Tabbed NSCAA All-North Region

DE PERE - St. Norbert College men's soccer senior forward Tyler Kassube and junior defender Joe Spera have earned All-North Region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Kassube was a first-team All-North Region selection, while Spera was a second-team All-North Region choice.

Kassube, an Appleton native and a Kimberly High School graduate, finished with a a Midwest Conference-best 32 points on 12 goals and eight assists this season. Kassube was a first-team All-MWC choice in each of the last two seasons.

Spera, a Wheaton, Ill., native and a Wheaton Warrenville South High School graduate, was one of St. Norbert's top defenders as the Green Knights outscored MWC opponents 30-10 and all opponents 52-20 so far this season. Spera, a first-team All-MWC honoree this season, had one goal for two points in 21 games.

St. Norbert finished 16-4-1 overall and 7-1-1 in the Midwest Conference. The Green Knights advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament before suffering a 2-1 double-overtime loss to Luther College in the first round.
