Grandlic Earns Honorable Mention All-America Nod

DE PERE - St. Norbert College senior defensive back Ryan Grandlic was named as an honorable mention All-America selection by

Grandlic, a Glenbeulah native and a Fond du Lac St. Mary's Springs High School graduate, was chosen as a safety.

Grandlic led the Green Knights in tackles with 94, including a 26-tackle game against Monmouth College on Nov. 5. Grandlic also had four tackles-for-loss, four fumble recoveries and two interceptions. Grandlic was a first-team All-MWC selection in 2016 after receiving a second-team All-MWC nod in 2015.

It marks the second year in a row a St. Norbert defensive back has earned All-America honors. Grandlic's accolade comes on the heels of Frank Laterza being named first-team All-America by the American Football Coaches Association and third-team Little All-America by the Associated Press last season.

St. Norbert finished 7-3 overall this season and placed second in the MWC race with a 7-1 league record.
