Green Knights Stumble Against Concordia

DE PERE - St. Norbert College lost a 4-2 decision to Concordia University Wisconsin in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Cornerstone Community Center.
Concordia took the lead after the first period when Dante Hahn's redirected puck found the back of the net on a 4-on-4 situation with 40 seconds remaining in the period.
The Falcons took a 2-0 lead when Brody Decker scored at 1:51 of the second period. St. Norbert responded with a Blake Thompson breakaway goal at 4:25, but the Falcons countered with a power-play goal from Connor Hogg at 9:29.
St. Norbert pulled to within 3-2 with 3:43 remaining when Dominick Sacco put home a loose puck in a pile-up in front of the net, but Concordia's Taylor Gauld scored an empty-net goal with 10 seconds left to salt away the victory.
St. Norbert outshot Concordia 28-18. The Green Knights were 0-for-1 on the power play while the Falcons were 1-for-2.
Nick Malvin made 26 saves for Concordia and T.J. Black made 14 stops for St. Norbert.
