DE PERE - St. Norbert College took on sixth-ranked Lake Forest College in the second game of a two-game Northern Collegiate Hockey Association series at the Resch Olympic Pavilion. The Green Knights found themselves in an early hole and were unable to capitalize on any opportunities, falling to the Foresters 2-0.

The Green Knights were in a scoreless struggle until the 15:17 mark of the first period, where Lake Forest took the 1-0 lead on an Olivia Spellmire breakaway shot. Early in the second, at the 50-second mark, Lake Forest's Amanda Brunges made it 2-0, a margin the Green Knights were unable to overcome.

St. Norbert couldn't capitalize on many close chances, and went into the third period without a goal. Even with St. Norbert going with an extra attacker in the last 2:17 of play, they couldn't break through Lake Forest's defense.

St. Norbert outshot Lake Forest 39-15, including a second period where the Green Knights outshot their opponent 18-5. Brianna Kelly had 13 saves in a losing effort, while Jacqueline Audet recorded 39 stops in a shutout victory.

Neither team recorded a power play goal, with St. Norbert going 0-for-5 and Lake Forest going 0-for-6.
