Artz, Herman Set School Records at Illinois Wesleyan

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - St. Norbert College had a pair of school record fall as the Green Knights placed second at the Illinois Wesleyan University Invitational at Shirk Center.

The Green Knights registered 59 points to place second behind team champion Washington University's 119 points.

Erin Artz set a new St. Norbert record in the 3,000-meter run, while Kristina Herman set a new school standard in the shot put. Artz's time of 9:52.59 was good for a second-place finish. Herman's heave of 42 feet 2 1/4 inches in the shot put was good for fourth place.

Brittany Kozlowski won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:14.55, while Taylor Domro was fifth in 2:20.97.

Samantha Morateck was second in the high jump with a clearance of 5-4 1/4.

Maddie LeBrun was fourth in the 400-meter dash in 1:00.07 and Haley Joosten was sixth in 1:01.60. Haidyn Mueller was fifth in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.65 seconds.

Erin Lang was seventh in the long jump with a distance of 16-1. Sarah Duff was eighth in the 200-meter dash in 27.34 seconds.
