OSHKOSH - St. Norbert College sophomore Kristina Herman set a new school record in the shot put for the second time in as many weeks as the Green Knights competed in the UW-Oshkosh Quadrangular at Kolf Sports Center.

The Green Knights totaled 45 points to finish fifth at the meet.

Herman's toss of the shot of a distance of 43 feet 3 inches was good for third place. Her heave surpasses her old mark of 42-2 1/4 set last Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan University.

Samantha Morateck finished in second place in the high jump with a clearance of 5-5.

Lisa Baeten finished third in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:49.12. Sarah Parbs was fifth in 19:07.25, while Alyssa Wegner was sixth in 19:13.93.

Tori Nelsen was sixth in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 11:05.25. Haidyn Mueller was sixth in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.45 seconds.

St. Norbert also had a handful of runners competing at the Grand Valley State University Big Meet over two days in Allendale, Mich.

The Green Knights' distance medley relay of Taylor Domro, Maddie LeBrun, Haley Joosten and Brittany Kozlowski placed seventh overall against mostly Division II competition. The quartet turned in a time of 11:53.74, the first DMR to finish with a sub-12 minute time in St. Norbert history. The relay also currently has the second-best time in the event in Division III.

Kozlowski also ran a time of 2:12.71 in the 800-meter run on Friday. That mark moved her to the fourth-best time in Division III.
