Green Knights Finish Third at Augustana

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - St. Norbert College finished in third place at the Augustana College Early Spring Invitational at Ericson Stadium.

The Green Knights totaled 99 1/2 points. Augustana won the team title with 307 1/2 points, while Loras College was second with 171 points.

Ryan Grandlic and Jon Gregory were second and third, respectively, in the 100-meter dash. Grandlic posted a time of 11.40 seconds, while Gregory ran 11.43 seconds. Grandlic was third in the 200-meter dash in 22.92 seconds.

The 4x800-meter relay of Andrew Brath, Matt Holloway, Jarret Jordan and Sam Holt was third in 8:39.07.

Colin O'Brien, Bright Boachie, Gregory and Grandlic were fourth in the 4x100-meter relay in 44.18 seconds.

Noah Kleiman placed third in the high jump with a height of 5 feet 10 3/4 inches.

Ben Behling was fourth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:07.75. Max Schermacher was fourth in the pole vault at 13-9 1/4. Travis Heschke was fourth ni the triple jump at 40-5 1/2.
