St. Norbert Finishes Tenth at Knox Invitational

GALESBURG, Ill. - St. Norbert College finished in 10th place out of 19 teams at the Knox College Prairie Fire Invitational at Soangetaha Country Club.

The Green Knights recorded a 36-hole total of 26-325--651. Illinois Central College won the meet with a total of 299-296--595. University of St. Francis' Huston Gass the medalist with a 2-under par 71-71--142.

Luke Karakas led St. Norbert by finishing in a tie for 30th place with a score of 76-82--158. Joe Scherer tied for 48th place with a score of 82-81--163, while Ben Bobinski was tied for 54th place at 84-80--164.

Ben Engelstad tied for 73rd place with a 92-82--174, while Marcus Ruch was tied for 86th place with an 84-97--181.

A total of 100 golfers competed.
