Green Knights' Title Ensures First Private Championship Sweep Since 1984

RIPON - St. Norbert College won the team title of the Wisconsin Private College Championship at Ingalls Field, ensuring the Green Knights their first sweep of team titles at the meet since 1984.

The Green Knights totaled 151 points to join the St. Norbert women atop the team standings. St. Norbert topped Concordia University Wisconsin, which had 110.66 points for second place. Carroll University was third with 85 points.

Ryan Grandlic turned in wins in the 200- and 400-meter runs with times of 22.93 and 49.15 seconds, respectively.

Sam Holt won the 10,000-meter run with a time of 34:40.32. The 4x400-meter relay also won with a time of 3:29.11.

Adam Weigman was second in the 100-meter dash in 11.81 seconds. Sam Stelloh was third in the 400-meter hurdles in 59.23 seconds, while Noah Kleiman was fourth in 1:00.13.

Jon Gregory was third in the 400-meter dash at 49.51 seconds, while Michael DeGroot was fourth in the 200-meter dash at 23.46 seconds.

Dominic DiBenedetto was second in the shot put at 47 feet 8 inches. Nathan King was second in the discus at 132-0.

Bright Boachie was third in the high jump at 6-3/4. Frank Scandin and Max Schermacher tied for third in the pole vault at 12-11 1/2. Kevin Schlichter was third in the long jump at 20-10 1/2.
