Nickerson's Discus Record Falls as St. Norbert Rolls at Home

DE PERE - St. Norbert College Mallory Nickerson reset her own school record in the discus as the Green Knights won the team championship of their own meet at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights racked up a whopping 271 points to easily outdistance second-place Carroll University's 168 points.

Nickerson uncorked a discus throw of 142 feet, topping her old school record of 141-2. Nickerson's mark is currently the 16th-best showing in NCAA Division III this season. Nickerson was third in the shot put at 35-5 1/4.

Kristina Herman won the shot put at 41-10 and was second in the discus at 124-8. Hannah Kruse was second in the shot put at 39-6.

Maddie LeBrun won the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.37 seconds while also finishing third in the 200-meter dash at 26.68 seconds.

Haley Joosten was first in the 800-meter run in 2:15.85, while Hailey Ruplinger was third in 2:23.25. Kelly Heniff won the 10,000-meter run in 41:24.07.

Sam Morateck won the high jump with a height of 5-6 1/2. She was second in the long jump at 16-7 3/4. Teagan Wernicke won the triple jump at 33-10 1/4.

Brittany Kozlowski was second in the 400-meter dash at 59.15 seconds. Abby Janto was second in the 5,000-meter run in 19:12.22, while Alyssa Wegner was third at 19:16.51.

Peyton McCauley finished second in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:07.30. Grace Mickelson was second in the pole vault at 10-6 3/4, while Kirsten Carrigan was third at 9-7.

The St. Norbert 4x100-meter relay of Mekenzie Mattes, LeBrun, Kaitlyn Hintz and Haidyn Mueller was second in 51.29 seconds. The 4x400-meter relay of LeBrun, Kozlowski, Joosten and Clarissa Jauregui was also second in 4:01.08.

Sarah Parbs was third in the 1,500-meter run in 5:03.46. Hintz was third in the javelin throw at 109-2.
