Three Qualify for NCAA Outdoor Championship

DE PERE - St. Norbert College had three athletes advance to the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship held this Thursday to Saturday at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.

Samantha Morateck (high jump), Brittany Kozlowski (800-meter run) and Taylor Domro (1,500-meter run) have all advanced to the national meet. A total of 22 entries are in each event.

Morateck is tied for the third-best seeding in the high jump at 5 feet 8 inches. The high jump will be contested at 10:30 a.m. EDT Friday. Morateck finished in a tie for 10th place in the event at the NCAA Indoor Championship in March.

Kozlowski has the 12th-best time in the 800-meter run at 2:11.18. Kozlowski was the national runner-up at the NCAA Indoor Championship in March. The 800-meter run preliminary heats will take place at 3:45 p.m. EDT Friday with the championship at 1:50 p.m. EDT Saturday.

Domro holds the No. 15 seeding in the 1,500-meter run at 4:33.39. The 1,500-meter run preliminary heats will run at 2:30 p.m. EDT Thursday with the championship at 12:25 p.m. EDT Saturday.
