Krug Named St. Norbert Cross Country and Track & Field Assistant Coach

DE PERE - Elizabeth Krug is in her first year as the St. Norbert College full-time assistant coach for men's and women's cross country and track and field.

Krug spent the last two years as a graduate assistant at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., where she worked with sprints, hurdles, javelin and combined events. Krug coached 11 Liberty League individual champions, covering the women's 60-, 100- and 200-meter dashes and the men's 200-, 400- and 400-meter hurdles. St. Lawrence also had one All-American in the 400-meter hurdles.

An accomplished athlete at Hendrix (Ark.) College, Krug won the NCAA Division III national championship in the heptathlon in 2013. Her mark of 5,074 points stands as the eighth-best mark in Division III history. Krug was a four-time All-American in the heptathlon and was also an All-American in the pentathlon as a junior.
