Green Knights Place Second at Tom Barry Invitational

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College finished in second place at the 43rd Annual Tom Barry Invitational at Colburn Park.

The Green Knights registered 76 points to finish second out of 12 teams. Lake Forest College repeated as team champion, totaling 49 points. Wisconsin Lutheran College's Jacob Jodat set a new college and course record with a time of 20 minutes 16.1 seconds in the 4-mile race, and won his second Tom Barry Invite title (2015). A total of 114 runners finished.

Joe Gasick led St. Norbert with a fifth-place finish with a time of 21:27.2. Andrew LeMay was 16th with a time of 22:00.8, while Jacob Dickman was 17th in 22:01.8. Matt Holloway was 18th in 22:02.0. Ben Behling also cracked the top 20, finishing in 20th place at 22:06.7.

The Green Knights had two other runners finish in the top 25. Sasha Maro finished 23rd with a time of 22:14, while Jaxon Todd was 25th in 22:24.9.

The St. Norbert Alumni placed eighth in the team standings with 223 peoints. Hayden Hoffmann was the top finisher for the alumni with a 19th-place finish in 22:05.6.
