DE PERE - St. Norbert College couldn't hold a second-half lead and lost to Carroll University 4-2 in a non-conference game at Schneider Stadium.
The Green Knights (3-3) took a 2-1 lead at the 50:58 mark on a penalty kick by Ben Prange, his fifth goal of the season.
Carroll answered less than two minutes later. The Pioneers had a penalty kick of their own, but Shea Connell's shot was stopped by St. Norbert goalkeeper Josh Koleske. The ball trickled away from Koleske, however, and a hustling Kieran DeGroot tapped home the loose ball to tie the score at 52:38.
The Pioneers took the lead at 59:49 when Chad Peterson's shot from about 25 yards out snuck just inside the left post. Connell then scored on a breakaway with one second left for the game's final goal.
St. Norbert scored first when Anthony Pineda's corner kick was served to Anthony Masello, whose header was true at 6:11. The Pioneers tied the score 1-1 at 23:06 when Connell's shot trickled in from out front, and that score held up until halftime.
Shots were even 7-7 and St. Norbert had a 5-2 edge in corner kicks. Josh Koleske made one save for the Green Knights and Connor Thompson made two for the Pioneers.
