St. Norbert Closes Out Carthage Tournament

KENOSHA - St. Norbert College its last two matches at the Carthage College Tournament, losing 3-1 to Alma College and 3-0 to Concordia University Wisconsin at Tarble Arena.

The Green Knights lost to Alma 25-9, 27-25, 17-25, 25-22 and then fell to Concordia 25-9, 25-17, 25-19.

Lexie Van Hiel paced St. Norbert against Alma, registering 13 kills in 19 attempts without an error. Helen Hecht and Halie Ferry had seven kills each. Anna Berghoefer totaled 19 assists and Emily Rohloff added 13 assists. The Green Knights hit .097 with 40 kills and 26 errors in 145 attempts.

Maddy Miller had a team-high 13 digs, while Brooke Siebert added 12 digs and Hecht and Jaisah Lee had 10 digs apiece. Van Hiel had six blocks while Hecht had three.

Against Concordia, Ferry had a team-high eight kills with Van Hiel and Hanna Strohm adding seven apiece. Rohloff had 19 assists for St. Norbert, which hit .104 in the match with 28 kills and 18 errors in 96 attempts.

Ferry led the defense with nine digs.

Rohloff was named to the All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of play.
