St. Norbert Tops UW-Stevens Point

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College picked up a 7-2 non-conference win over UW-Stevens Point at Western Racquet and Fitness Club.

The Green Knights (8-3) took the early lead by winning two of the three doubles points at stake. Jordyn Lawatsch and Lauren Paulson blanked Angelica Hernandez and Kaylee Roberts 8-0 at No. 2. Stephanie Doerfert and Claire Hetzel defeated Elizabeth Wilichowski and Anna Dobbe 8-3 at No. 3.

Lawatsch claimed a 6-4, 6-0 win over Emily Kleist at No. 1 singles, followed by Meg Witt's 6-1, 6-0 win over Abbey Johnson at No. 2. Paulson topped Hernandez 6-2, 6-0.

Doerfert defeated Wilichowski 6-0, 6-3 at No. 5, and Sofie Koppmann beat Roberts 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6.
