Green Knights Fall In Four Sets to Cornell

DE PERE - St. Norbert College lost a four-set Midwest Conference match to Cornell College by a score of 22-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-21 at Mulva Family Fitness and Sports Center.

The Green Knights (4-13, 1-1 MWC) won the first set behind a solid hitting percentage of .406 (14-1-32). However, St. Norbert would hit just .188 for the rest of the match. St. Norbert hit .241 overall, with 50 kills and 18 errors in 133 attempts.

Halie Ferry and Lexie Van Hiel had 11 kills apiece for the Green Knights, while Haley Bartz added 10 kills. Emily Rohloff had 25 assists and Anna Berghoefer 19 assists. Ferry and Rohloff had two service aces apiece.

Jaisah Lee finished with 18 digs and Ferry 11 for the Green Knights.

Cornell hit a lusty .371 for the match, with 62 kills and 13 errors in 132 attempts. Libby Schnoor had 18 kills and Diamond Boyd 16 kills for the Rams (14-5, 2-0 MWC).
