PLATTEVILLE - St. Norbert College picked up a big road win with a 3-1 triumph over UW-Platteville in a non-conference game at Pioneer Stadium.

The Green Knights (8-3-1) snapped the Pioneers' eight-match winning streak. St. Norbert improved to 3-0-1 in its last four meetings with Platteville (8-2).

St. Norbert carried a 1-0 lead into halftime after Logan Block's goal at 19:32 stood up for the rest of the half. It was Block's third goal of the season.

The Green Knights tripled their lead early in the second half. Robert Quinlan scored his first marker of the season at the 46:46 mark, while Ben Prange followed with his ninth goal of the year at 50:06. The Pioneers would score off a corner kick on a goal by Jon Stopple at 65:34, but the host would get no closer.

St. Norbert outshot Platteville 10-8, with the Pioneers holding a 3-1 edge in corner kicks. Josh Koleske made two saves for the Green Knights, while Nate Miller made five stops for Platteville.
