DE PERE - St. Norbert College remained unbeaten in the Midwest Conference North Division with a 38-6 win over Lawrence University at Schneider Stadium.

With their 20th consecutive win over the Vikings, the Green Knights (5-2, 3-0 MWC North) face Macalester College (5-2, 3-0) for sole possession of first place in the division next Saturday in St. Paul, Minn.

St. Norbert struck early, scoring on its second play from scrimmage to take a 7-0 lead following a 44-yard touchdown pass from Jack Becker to Samuel Staehling. The Vikings would capitalize two series later following a lost St. Norbert fumble, getting their only points of the day on a 39-yard touchdown pass from D'Andre Weaver to Trevor Spina. The two-point conversion failed to keep the Green Knights ahead 7-6.

The Green Knights would respond with a 12-play, 65-yard drive, with Becker finding Staehling again on a 6-yard aerial and a 14-6 edge with 5:19 left in the quarter. It was Staehling's 11th touchdown reception of the season.

St. Norbert scored the second quarter's only points after Hunter Prokash's interception set up the Green Knights near midfield. St. Norbert needed eight plays to traverse 52 yards, climaxed by Jadon Sackman's 2-yard touchdown run on fourth-and-1 with 4:56 left in the period. The Green Knights carried a 21-6 lead into halftime.

The Green Knights would add to their lead when Becker found Marty Franzkowiak, who weaved through the Lawrence defense for a 52-yard touchdown reception with 6:35 left in the third quarter and a 28-6 lead.

St. Norbert scored 10 fourth-quarter points on a 34-yard field goal by Spenser Thompson-Meyers and an 11-yard touchdown run by Sackman.

The Green Knights outgained the Vikings 433-144 in total offense, the third consecutive game a St. Norbert opponent has been held to under 150 yard of total offense. St. Norbert compiled 29 first downs to Lawrence's nine and finished with 344 yards rushing to the Vikings' 13.

Becker finished with 122 yards rushing on 16 carries. Sackman toted the ball 28 times for 138 yards and two touchdowns. Becker completed 7 of 15 passes for 122 yards for three touchdowns and two interceptions. Franzkowiak had four catches for 69 yards and two touchdowns.

Weaver led the Lawrence's offense, completing 10 of 21 passes for 131 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions.

St. Norbert's defense registered 11 tackles-for-loss and four quarterback sacks. Matt Barrett had a team-high eight stops, while Ben Kornowski had five tackles including four tackles-for-loss. Kordell Draves also registered two quarterback sacks to boost his team-high total to 5 1/2.
