DE PERE - St. Norbert College and Knox College battled for 110 minutes and finished in a scoreless tie in a Midwest Conference match at Schneider Stadium.

The draw meant both St. Norbert (12-4-2, 7-0-2 MWC) and Knox (12-5-2, 7-0-2) share the conference championship. The MWC title is the 10th for the Green Knights, and their first since 2013. St. Norbert won the tiebreaker and will host the MWC Tournament next weekend in De Pere.

St. Norbert had a pair of good scoring chances, with a shot caroming off the post in the 63rd minute and another drive went just wide in the 73rd minute. Knox's best scoring opportunity came in the 90th minute when a breakaway run was stopped by St. Norbert goalkeeper Ally Magiera.

Magiera finished with 13 saves for St. Norbert, while Sierra Daniger made seven stops for the Prairie Fire.

Knox outshot St. Norbert 21-13 and held a 6-3 edge in corner kicks.
