Green Knight Thinclads Open Season at UW-Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE - The St. Norbert College women's indoor track and field 2009 season got underway with an appearance at the Blugold Open at UW-Eau Claire.

St. Norbert finished fifth among six teams, totaling 24 points. UW-La Crosse won the meet with 155.5 points, followed by NCAA Division II Winona State with 140.5 points. Eau Claire was third with 132 points while St. Thomas was fourth with 86.

Emily Schudrowitz was fourth in the 800-meter run with time of 2:22.98. Kelsey Timm posted a sixth-place finish in the 1-mile run, registering a time of 5:29.21.

The St. Norbert 4x200-meter relay team placed second with a time of 1:52.58 seconds. The Green Knights were also second in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:07.88.
