DE PERE - St. Norbert College finished the first half of the regular season unbeaten after blanking Augsburg University 4-0 in a non-conference game at Cornerstone Community Center.

The Green Knights, ranked No. 1 in the USCHO.com and D3hockey.com Division III polls, have their best-ever record at the semester break at 11-0-1. St. Norbert has been unbeaten at the break just one other time - a 10-0-1 mark in 2014-15.

St. Norbert took the lead at 17:26 of the first period when Riley Christensen scored off assists from Chris Rygus and Keegan Milligan.

Christensen doubled the Green Knights' lead when he scored an unassisted goal at 7:46 of the second period, his third marker of the season. St. Norbert pushed its lead to 3-0 when Peter Bates scored off helpers from Clay Van Diest and Tyler Andrews at 17:41 of the second period.

Milligan ensured the series sweep over the Auggies (8-4) when he scored a power-play goal at 10:22 of the third period. Kurt Black and Christensen assisted.

Christensen finished with two goals and an assist for three points, while Milligan's assist gave him two points.

T.J. Black fashioned his tenth career shutout, with 37 saves being a career-high in a shutout performance. Augsburg netminder Nick Schmit made 32 stops.

St. Norbert was 1-for-5 on the power play, while Augsburg was 0-for-8.
