Distance Medley Leads St. Norbert at UW-Whitewater

WHITEWATER - The St. Norbert College distance medley relay paced the Green Knights at their appearance at the UW-Whitewater Warhawk Classic Invitational.
The Green Knights finished seventh out of nine teams at the highly competitive meet with 38 points. UW-La Crosse won the team title with 213 points.
Taylor Domro, Emily Beltran, Alana Blegen and Gretchen Price turned in the championship showing in the distance medley, posting a time of 13:45.78.
The 4x200-meter relay of Peyton McCauley, Haidyn Mueller, Sydney Olund and Dejah Amos was third with a time of 1:52.11. The 4x400-meter relay of Hailey Ruplinger, Morgan McClone, McCauley and Claire Van Beek placed ofurth in 4:09.93.
Graceanne Tarsa finished fifth in the 1-mile run in 5:33.21 and was eighth in the pole vault at 10 feet 7 inches. Mueller was sixth in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.41 seconds. Domro was sixth in the 800-meter run in 2:24.60, while Van Beek was seventh in 2:25.07.
Sarah Parbs finished in seventh place in the 5,000-meter run in 19:14.90. Kristina Herman was seventh in the shot put at 38-5 1/2, while Savanna Smith was eighth at 37-10.
