DE PERE - St. Norbert College scored three third-period goals to earn a 4-1 win over College of St. Scholastica in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Cornerstone Community Center.

The Green Knights (17-4-1, 12-3 NCHA), ranked No. 3 in the USCHO.com and D3hockey.com Division III polls, clinched home ice for the NCHA Harris Cup Playoffs Quarterfinals and Semifinals with the win.

With the score knotted at 1-1 after two periods, Steven Phillips put St. Norbert ahead just 1:21 into the third period when a hard drive to the net got his shot past St. Scholastica goaltender Zane Steeves. The Green Knights added to their lead at the 5:25 mark when Kurt Black scored his eighth goal of the season. St. Norbert closed out its scoring with a shorthanded, empty-net goal by Sean Campbell with less than one second remaining.

St. Norbert took the early lead on a power-play goal by Dominick Sacco - his eighth overall marker of the year - at 13:18. Sacco's goal came 27 seconds into a five-minute major power play, but the Green Knights couldn't add to their total. The Saints (13-8-1, 7-7-1) tied the game on an unassisted goal by Cole Golka at 18:15 of the first period.

St. Norbert outshot St. Scholastica 44-15. T.J. Black made 14 saves for the Green Knights, while Steeves made 40 stops for the Saints.

The Green Knights were 1-for-4 on the power play, while St. Scholastica was 0-for-4.
