DE PERE - St. Norbert College fashioned a 3-0 shutout win over Marian University in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Harris Cup Playoffs semifinal game at Cornerstone Community Center.

The win propelled the Green Knights (23-4-1) into the NCHA Harris Cup Playoffs Championship Game next weekend at Adrian College. It marks the fourth consecutive year St. Norbert has traveled to meet the Bulldogs for the Harris Cup title.

St. Norbert would get all the scoring it would need just 35 seconds into the game when Steven Phillips scored his ninth goal of the season. The Green Knights would get a big 4-on-4 goal with just nine seconds left in the first period, when Nick LeSage threaded a pass to the stick of Riley Christensen. It was Christensen's sixth goal of the season.

The Green Knights would hold their two-goal lead until the 14:06 mark of the third period, when Keegan Milligan found a streaking Tanner Froese skating down the slot for his 11th goal of the year.

LeSage and Chris Rygus had two assists apiece to each register a multi-point game.

St. Norbert had four 5-on-3 opportunities on the game but finished the contest 0-for-10 on the power play. Marian (20-7-1) was 0-for-6 on the man advantage.

The Green Knights held a commanding 39-12 edge in shots on goal. T.J. Black turned away all 12 saves for the Green Knights to post his 12th career shutout. Hunter Vorva made 36 stops for the Sabres.
