Six Green Knights Honored by NCHA

DE PERE - St. Norbert College had three men's hockey players named to the 2018 All-Northern Collegiate Hockey Association team and three others tabbed on the NCHA All-Freshmen team as announced by the conference office.

Senior forward Tanner Froese, senior defenseman Sean Campbell and senior goaltender T.J. Black were the Green Knights' three All-NCHA honorees, all for the second consecutive season. Forwards Peter Bates and Keegan Milligan and defenseman Luke Davison were named to the All-Freshmen Team.

Froese, an Estevan, Saskatchewa, native, shares the team lead the Green Knights in goals with 11 and has 17 assists for 28 points. Froese has one power-play goal and two game-winning goals this season.

Campbell, a Holt, Mich., native, has two goals and 15 assists for 17 points while helping the nation's top scoring defense to 1.39 goals allowed per game. Campbell has one power-play goal and one shorthanded goal this season.

Black, a Wheaton, Ill., native, is 23-3-1 in net for the Green Knights with a 1.38 goals against average and .940 save percentage. Black has four shutouts this season and is second in Division III in goals against average.

Bates, an Evanston, Ill., native, is third on the team in scoring with 10 goals and 13 assists for 23 points. Bates has four game-winning goals and four power-play goals.

Milligan, an Emerald Park, Saskatchewan, native, is second on the team in scoring with 11 goals and 13 assists for 24 points. He has a team-high five power-play goals along with one game-winning marker.

Davison, a De Pere native, leads the Green Knights' defensemen in scoring with five goals and 13 assists for 18 points. He has three power-play goals.
