Green Knights Open Spring Season With Loss to UWGB

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College opened the spring portion of the 2017-18 women's tennis season with a 4-3 loss to NCAA Division I UW-Green Bay at Western Racquet & Fitness Club.

The Green Knights split the six singles matches but the Phoenix earned the doubles point to tip the team result in its favor.

Jordyn Lawatsch earned a three-set win over Theresa Tebon at No. 1 singles by a score of 6-3, 6-7 (3-7), 10-4. Lauren Paulson picked up a 6-3, 6-2 win over Sterre Tijssens 6-3, 6-2 at No. 4 singles.

Claire Hetzel at No. 6 singles and Hetzel and Sofie Koppmann at No. 3 doubles each earned forfeit wins.
