St. Norbert Drops Non-Conference Pair

JACKSON - St. Norbert College lost a pair of non-conference dual matches by a 7-2 score to Carroll University and a 6-3 setback to Concordia University Wisconsin at Pleasant Valley Tennis Center.

The Green Knights got a pair of wins from Alex Vandenberg at No. 6 singles. Vandenberg beat Carroll's Ian Foster 6-4, 6-0 and also defeated Concordia's Cole Werning 6-4, 6-1.

Vandenberg teamed up with Joe Oleniczak at No. 3 doubles for two wins. The duo topped Concordia's Nathan Raskin and Peter Kloda 8-6 and then beat the Pioneers' Foster and Quentin Lamers 8-3.

Ben Vande Zande picked up the Green Knights' other win with a three-set victory at No. 1 singles over Concordia's Nolan Rademacher 7-6 (7-4), 6-7 (3-7), 10-6.
