Knights Finish Fifth in Whitewater

WHITEWATER - St. Norbert College's men's track and field team finished fifth out of 12 teams at the UW-Whitewater Invitational on Saturday.

The Green Knights finished with 56.33 points. Whitewater won the meet with a score of 235.50, Carthage placed second with 95 points, MSOE took third with 77.50 points and Carroll garnered 61.83 points to finish fourth.

Paul Leeman leaped 13.01 meters in the triple jump, good for a first-place finish.

Mackenzie Laska was St. Norbert's next-highest finisher placing second in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:12.29. Jordan Gobert finished fourth in the 55-meter hurdles with a time 8.27.

St. Norbert's 4x200-meter relay team took second with a time of 1:37.08.

At the Gladstein Invitational at Indiana University, Dann Schneider placed second in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:59.96. Schneider was seventh in the 400-meter run with a time of 50.05.
