Green Knights Fall Twice to Open 2018

KISSIMMEE, Fla. - St. Norbert College opened the 2018 seasons with a 5-0 loss to Susquehanna University and a 7-1 setback to SUNY-Cortland at the Sunkissed Games.

The Green Knights (0-2) had four hits in the opener against Susquehanna and then had three hits in the loss to the Red Dragons.

Lexy Campshure accounted for St. Norbert's only run of the day when she stroked a solo home run in the seventh inning against Cortland. Campshure finished the game 2-for-3. Carley Frauenhoff added a double for the Green Knights.

Sydney Pfotenhauer took the loss for St. Norbert, allowing five runs on seven hits in 2 2/3 innings.

Against Susquehanna, the River Hawks snapped a scoreless game with two runs in each of the fourth and fifth innings to pull away. St. Norbert had four singles in the game.

Emma Molenhouse allowed four runs on eight hits in four innings to take the loss for St. Norbert.
