Green Knights Place Sixth at UW-Stevens Point Invitational

STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College posted several solid individual showings to place sixth at the UW-Stevens Point Invitationals.

The Green Knights registered 38 points top place sixth, which was just three points out of fourth place. UW-Stevens Point won the event with 207.5 points.

Dann Schneider was second in the 200-meter dash with a sprint of 22.51 seconds and was third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.91 seconds.

Jordan Gobert also placed in two events. Gobert finished in a three-way tie for third in the pole vault with a height of 4.00 meters. Gobert then placed seventh in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.12 seconds.

Brent Schreiber was fifth in the long jump with a leap of 6.42 meters. Paul Leeman placed sixth in the triple jump with a distance of 13.12 meters.

St. Norbert had a pair of top-eight finishes in the shot put. Bret Blozinski was fifth with a heave of 13.46 meters, while Tony Dionne was eighth with a distance of 13.00 meters.

The Green Knights' 4x200-meter relay team placed fourth with a time of 1:35.35.
