Knights Finish Ninth at MWC Championships

GRINNELL, Iowa - St. Norbert College's women's swimming team placed ninth at the Midwest Conference Championships hosted by Grinnell College.

The Green Knights tallied 185 points. Grinnell won the event totaling 1,253 points.

Stef Klepfer posted St. Norbert's best finish, placing eighth in the 200-yard backstroke. Klepfer finished with a time of 2:21.08.

The Green Knight 400-yard freestyle team of Bre Heil, Natalie Walsh, Maura Cherney and Klepfer posted St. Norbert's next best finish placing ninth with a time of 4:04.56.

Cherney finished 10th in the 1,650-yard freestyle, finishing in 20:35.23, to round out the Green Knights' top 10 finishes.
