Schudrowitz's 800-Meter Win Paces Green Knights at Eastbay Invitational

STEVENS POINT - Emily Schudrowitz won the 800-meter run to lead St. Norbert College's performances at the Eastbay Invitational hosted at UW-Stevens Point's Multi-Activity Center.

The Green Knights placed sixth at the invite with a total of 49 points. UW-Eau Claire won the meet with 183 points, followed by UW-Stevens Point's 94 points.

Schudrowitz won the 800 by almost 1 1/2 seconds, posting a time of 2:22.37 to best Stevens Point's Ashley Woest's 2:23.81.

Schudrowitz also held the St. Norbert distance medley relay team to a school-record time of 12:36.16. Kelsey Timm, Schudrowitz, Ashley Graybill and Jenny Scherer composed the record-setting quartet.

Graybill had St. Norbert's next-highest individual finish with a second-place showing in the 200-meter dash. Graybill sprinted a time of 26.26 seconds, just behind Carroll's Sarah Duchow's 26.15 seconds.

Katie Meyer was third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:01.79. Anne Mueller was fifth in the 55-meter hurdles at 9.14 seconds, while Nikki Swanson was fifth in the long jump with a leap of 4.82 meters. Scherer rounded out St. Norbert's individual scorers by placing eighth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:31.58.

St. Norbert's 4x200-meter relay was second in 1:53.23, while its 4x400-meter relay was sixth in 4:30.94.
