St. Norbert Falls to UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College's men's tennis team dropped to 3-4 on the season with a pair of 9-0 losses to UW-Eau Claire and UW-La Crosse at Western Racquet.

St. Norbert dropped a pair of three-set decisions in singles play against the Blugolds. Mike Hyrczyk lost to Chris Thornton at No. 5 singles 6-1, 6-7 (5-7), 10-7. Ethan Kadow dropped the No. 6 singles match to Dirk Van Rybroek 6-7 (4-7), 6-3, 10-7.

The Green Knights had one three-set loss to La Crosse. The Eagles' Joey Van Lieshout topped St. Norbert's Jordan Bauer at No. 1 by a 2-6, 6-3, 10-7 score.

St. Norbert will try to get back on track on Saturday, Feb. 28 with a pair of dual meets against Concordia (Wis.) University and Milwaukee School of Engineering.
