Tabisz, Gale Named All-Americans

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. - St. Norbert College defenseman Nick Tabisz and forward A.J. Gale were named NCAA Division III All-Americans by the American Hockey Coaches Association.

Tabisz was a first-team selection, while Gale was a second-team honoree.

Tabisz, a sophomore from Kettering, Ohio, scored 11 goals and 17 assists for 28 points in 28 games played. Tabisz had three power-play goals and one game-winning goal. In 59 career games, Tabisz has scored 20 goals and 33 assists for 53 points.

Gale, a junior from Lantzville, British Columbia, was selected despite missing nine games this season due to injury. Gale, playing in 19 games, scored 19 goals and 11 assists for 30 points. He posted eight power-play and three game-winning goals.

Amherst College defenseman Jeff Landers was named NCAA Division III Player of the Year by the AHCA.

St. Norbert hockey has had at least one All-America selection for 12 consecutive years. Tabisz and Gale bring the total of St. Norbert individuals tabbed as hockey All-America selections to 19.
