Graybill, Scherer Provisionally Qualify for NCAA Outdoor Nationals

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - St. Norbert College's Ashley Graybill and Jenny Scherer both provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Meet with a solid showing at Coastal Carolina University's Shamrock Invitational.
Running against primarily Division I contestants, Graybill won the 800-meter run with a time of 2 minutes 11.47 seconds, coming up just shy of the Division III automatic qualifying time of 2:11.00.
Scherer provisionally qualified by winning the 5,000-meter run with a time of 17:28.44. Scherer beat Maryland's Lindsay Ritchings by over two seconds for the championship.
Both Graybill and Scherer's times were St. Norbert outdoor records.
Emily Schudrowitz placed eighth in the 800 with a time of 2:18.33, while the 4x200-meter relay team placed 18th with a time of 1:51.05. Graybill, Schudrowitz, Danielle Krause and Megan Domnick comprised the relay's quartet.
