Kayla Krueger spun a three-hitter in the opener, walking one and striking out seven. Kim Sawyer homered in the third inning to give St. Norbert a 5-1 lead, while Krueger iced the game with a two-run home run in the sixth.
Krueger, Tracy Palmer, Stephanie Ortiz and Collette Ullmer all had two hits apiece in the opener. Ullmer collected two doubles and Ortiz also had a two-base hit.
In the nightcap, Beloit led 3-1 before St. Norbert answered with three runs in the fifth inning to take control. Stephanie Ortiz homered with one out to cut the deficit to 3-2. Krueger walked but was erased on a fielder's choice by Kristin Zimmerman. Brieanne Oehlke then followed with a triple to tie the game. Sawyer then walked to set up a game-winning double steal, with Oehlke just beating a bang-bang play at the plate.
St. Norbert pitcher Jessica Kropp set Beloit down in order in the sixth and yielded a one-out hit in the seventh, but St. Norbert turned a double play to end the game. Kropp allowed eight hits with two walks and five strikeouts.
Alyssa McGray had the only multi-hit game in the nightcap for St. Norbert, going 2-for-3.
