BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - St. Norbert College's run in the NCAA Division III Softball Tournament was a short one as the Green Knights were eliminated in the Bloomington Regional by a 6-3 loss to Concordia (Wis.) University at Illinois Wesleyan Softball Field.

The Green Knights, who won the Midwest Conference championship for the second time in three years, finished the season 17-19.

Concordia (25-22) scored twice in the third and once in the fourth for a 5-2 lead, but St. Norbert cut it to 5-3 in the sixth. Kristin Zimmerman's RBI groundout scored Stephanie Ortiz.

The Falcons got the run back in the sixth and the Green Knights went down in order in the seventh.
