Schneider Qualifies For 400-Meter Finals at NCAA Championship

MARIETTA, Ohio - St. Norbert College sophomore Dann Schneider qualified for the finals of the 400-meter dash at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships held at Marietta College's Don Drumm Stadium.

Schneider ran in the third of three heats in the trials, winning his hit with a time of 48.05 seconds. Schneider was the only sprinter in his heat to advantage to the finals.

Schneider is seeded eighth for the eight-man finals. McMurry University's Hanneus Ollison, the top seed entering the meet, ran the fastest trial time with a spring of 47.57 seconds.

The 400-meter finals are set for 2:10 p.m. EDT Saturday.
