Graybill Qualifies For 800-Meter Final at NCAA Championship

MARIETTA, Ohio - St. Norbert College senior Ashley Graybill qualified for the finals of the 800-meter run at the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships held at Marietta College's Don Drumm Stadium.

Graybill ran a time of 2 minutes 12.84 seconds to finish in a tie for first in her heat with The College of New Jersey's Stephanie Herrick. Graybill's time is tied for seventh-best in the eight-person finals field, which will run at 3 p.m. EDT Saturday.

Graybill won the 2009 NCAA Division III Indoor Championship in the 800 meters with a time of 2:09.95. UW-Platteville's Jessica Scott, who was the national runner-up to Graybill at the indoor nationals, is the top seed going into the finals with a qualifying time of 2:11.23.
