Green Knights Finish Greece Trip 2-1

MAROUSSI, Greece - St. Norbert College wrapped up its trip to Greece with an 82-41 rout of Maroussi Basketball Club.

The Green Knights jumped out to a 20-5 lead at the end of the first quarter and a 40-14 advantage at halftime. Dave Wipperfurth had 11 points in the first quarter, and connected on three 3-pointers in the first 2 minutes 47 seconds of the game.

St. Norbert made 30 of 69 field-goal attempts, good for 43.5 percent. Maroussi was held to 28.3 percent shooting from the floor, making just 15 of 53 shots.

Wipperfurth led St. Norbert with 22 points, connecting on five 3-pointers while grabbing seven rebounds. Rob Durrett registered a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, while Steve Papke had 13 points and nine rebounds.

Matt Coenen added nine points, Chris Peterson seven, John Anstett six, Kenny Rideout five John Taylor four and Kyle Johnsen three. Taylor had seven assists.
