Green Knights Can't Crack Scoring Column at Lake Forest

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Despite more than a 2-to-1 shots advantage, St. Norbert College couldn't find the goal in a 1-0 Midwest Conference loss to Lake Forest College at Farwell Field.

The Green Knights, ranked No. 21 in this week's NCAA Division III Poll, outshot the Foresters 21-9 but couldn't score. St. Norbert held a 12-3 shots advantage in the second half but was shutout for the first time in 2009.

Lake Forest (2-4, 1-1 MWC) scored at the 15 minute 50 second mark when Nelson Dorvio scored off assists from Robbie Weis and Kahiye Hassan.

St. Norbert (5-1, 1-1) goalkeeper Joe Schwartz made three saves for St. Norebrt, while Lake Forest goalkeeper Tom Biesiada made nine saves.

St. Norbert held an 8-4 advantage in corner kicks and both teams were whistled for 17 fouls.
