St. Norbert Drops Pair to WIAC Foes

STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College dropped a pair of women's tennis dual matches to Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foes, falling by scores of 9-0 to UW-La Crosse and 6-3 to UW-Stevens Point at Goerke Park.

St. Norbert picked up one doubles match against the Pointers, with the No. 2 tandem of Allyson Yankle and Erin Riutta beating Emily Riordan and Kaitlyn King 8-6. In singles action, Lauren Post beat Rachel Benn 5-7, 6-3, 13-11 at the No. 1 flight, while Callie Schroeder topped Monica Preisig 6-1, 7-5 at No. 6.

Post had the only three-set singles match against La Crosse, falling to Kelly Kuether 6-4, 4-6, 11-9.

The Green Knights dropped to 3-4 in dual meets this season.
